Job fairs are held by employers with open positions that you may be qualified for.
Meet the employer events are held by companies willing to share what the job is about and what kind of skills and knowledge you would need to be successful in applying and qualifying for these positions. (They also may have some open positions right now!)
How can Goodwill help you in these situations?
By supplying these events to you for free! Over 1,000 events last year alone in the greater Oregon and Clark County Washington areas.
Goodwill’s Job Connection program has helped people find jobs through these events as well as matching you with your own Employment Specialist to fine point your job search and career goals.
We also have a Career Center to help you qualify for some of these positions, such as Microsoft Office classes or upgrading skills in interviewing, job search and resume/cover letters.
Computer classes, job search strategies, interviewing techniques—anything to get you that job!
